Folkestone Queer History Guided Walk

In March 2024, we hosted a guided walk on the queer history of folkestone

Starting with the fantasy castle of eccentric Sir Philip Sassoon, to the über-cool home of pop artist Mark Lancaster, via the birthplace of naturalist and author Jocelyn Brooke, and the theatres and hotels that hosted a range of GLBTQ creatives from Oscar Wilde to Radclyffe Hall.
